Memorial services for Patricia Jane Mapp, 65, were held at 10 a.m., Friday April 17 in the Veteran Section of Rose Hill Cemetery.

Born March 4, 1945 in Borger, Texas, the daughter of Freeman and Martha Mattie Lawrey Dunagan, she died April 15, 2009 in Mercy Health Love County Hospital.

Mrs. Mapp had lived in this area most of her life. She and Lawrence “Larry” Moore were married August 15, 1990 in Ardmore. Mrs. Mapp served her country in the U.S. Army and was a nurse for Memorial Hospital. She was lovingly known by her family as RCB and will be missed by all that knew her. Mrs. Mapp was the matriarch of the family for many years and helped keep the family together.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Christine Pace of Marietta; two sons, Kenneth Dale Mapp and Richard Doyle McDonald; two stepsons, Geoffrey Moore and Thomas Moore, all of Ardmore; three sisters, Bernice Walker of Lone Grove, LaWanda Lindsey of Ardmore, and Dovie Rushin of Ravia; a brother, James Dunagan of Ardmore; a special friend, Hazel of Healdton; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; brothers, Joe Andrew Dunagan and Marty Rhodes; and sisters, Etta May Hawk, Virginia Ann Dunagan, Leslie Dunagan and Pauline Boydston.

This obituary included a picture of Mrs. Mapp.
