Graveside services for Robert P. Medina, 74, were held at 12 p.m. Thursday, July 26 in the McAlister Cemetery near Overbrook, with Lawrence Anderson officiating.

Born May 8, 1944 in Dallas, the son of Carmen Joe Medina and Jesusa Porres Medina, he died Friday, July 20, 2018 in a Carrollton, Texas hospice surrounded by family.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his beloved wife of over 40 years, Mamie LaFontain Medina.

Survivors include his daughter, Melinda Morgan and husband Rick of Marietta; son, CJ Medina of Irving, Texas; brother, Richard Medina and wife Gilda of Carrollton; sister, Mary Hopper and husband Jack of Irving; grandchildren, Jessica Williams and husband Russell, Meagan Wilson and husband Bryan, Dillon Sampson, and Catherine Medina; and great-grandchildren, Presley Beck, Brynn Wilson, Harper Williams and Jett Wilson. Serving as pallbearers were Bryan Wilson, Russell Williams, Rick Morgan, Casey Mullican, James Noahubbi, Eric Noahubbi and Miko Gonzales.
