Ralph E. Harvey

Ralph E. Harvey was a resident of Fort Cobb since 1927 and died at his home, early Thursday morning.

He was a former Methodist minister, funeral home operator, farmer and stockman.

He farmed many years northwest of Fort Cobb. His land is now inundated by waters of the Cobb Creek Reservoir.

He was born March 18, 1892 at Twin Creek, Kansas.

He was married to Mary Etta Wilson on April 5, 1909. Eight children were born to them.

One daughter preceded him in death.

Three sons, Lester of Fayetteville, Ark., Ralph Jr., Broxton and Jack of Farmington, N.M.; four daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Pritchard, Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Ralph Brown, Farmington; Mrs. Fred Ratliff and Mrs. Joe Bob Truitt, both of Fort Cobb.
