Alice May [Williams] Oswalt
January 21, 1949 ~ August 10, 2012

Alice May Oswalt of Cyril, Oklahoma was born January 21, 1949 in Cement, OK to Lee wayne Williams and Helen Mae Williams. She passed away August 10th at Ft. Sill, OK at the age of 63.

She married Joseph Clinton Oswalt on May 30, 1969 in Chickasha, OK.

Alice was a wonderful, loving, generous lady who always put others before herself.She was proud to be a Christian and enjoyed her devotions sitting on her pourch.

Alice worked as a cook for many years with the Cyril Nursing Home until it closed.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Cyril.

Alice enjoyed cooking as well as sewing and going anywhere and everywhere, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by: Her husband, Joe, of the home, 1 daughter and her husband-Charlotte and John Shoemaker Springfield, MO, 1 son Jason Oswalt , Elk City, 6 grandchildren-Andy Shoemaker, Jonathan Shoemaker, Cindy Shoemaker, Alex Shoemaker, Caleb Oswalt and Christian Oswalt, 1 brother and his wife-Eddie and Mary Williams Cement, OK, 4 sisters-Virginia Morris Cement, OK, Sue Ellis Fletcher, OK, Martha Kerr Fletcher, OK, Linda and husband, Marlin Verdon Vera, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents Helen Mea McClain Williams and Lee Wayne Williams.Grand parents Issac williams, clara lowery williams, Geroge McCain, and Tessie McClain.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 13th at 10:00 A.M. in Celestial Gardens Cemetery of Cyril with Pastor Charles Echols officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.
