Minnie White passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 82. She was born on October 2, 1941, in Durant, Oklahoma to James Lowell and Minnie Mae (Henson) Hiberd. She was raised by her loving Grandmother, Ida Mae Coker. She married the love of her life, Joe Grady White on September 14, 1959, in Sherman, Texas.

Minnie retired from social work in 1981 where she was a supervisor for DHS. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Some of her hobbies include quilting, sewing, baking, gardening, singing in the choir at church, and golf, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Minnie will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Left behind to cherish Minnie's memory are her daughters-in-law Natalie White of Durant, Oklahoma and Delores White of Deer Park, Texas, and her grandchildren Laura White of York, Pennsylvania, Eric White of Deer Park, Texas, Traci Price and husband Jerry of Deer Park, Texas, Amanda Bridges and husband James of Franklin, Kentucky, Steven White of Durant, Oklahoma, and Benjamin White and wife Tobi of Talihina, Oklahoma. Her great grandchildren include Jonathon, Isabella, Grayson, Callista, Jake, Kaylee, Tristan, Bryson, Atlas, Delainey, January, Lexi, along with a great great grandchild Paxton and one on the way, Charlotte, with other relatives and friends.

Preceding Minnie in death are her parents James and Minnie Mae, husband Joe Grady White, sons Joe Paul White and Phillip Grady White, along with other family members.

Family hour will be held on Thursday, December 28th from 7-8pm at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29th at 10am at the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Darel Bunch officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons Steven White, Benjamin White, Jerry Price and Eric White, with honorary pallbearers being Tristan White and Jake Price. Burial will immediately follow in Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
