Martin Daniel Bowles

Martin Daniel Bowles was born on December 4th, 1940 in Gainesville, Texas, and passed away on February 13, 2024 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, surrounded by family and friends.

He was the son of the late O.N. and Della Arrington Bowles. Martin had 6 brothers who have all since passed.

Martin was married to Jessie Robison in October of 1986. He is survived by his son's John, Kenny, James and Sean, and daughter's Tina and Kimberly, along with 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Martin was employed at Badger Pass Ski Resort in Yosemite National Park in northern California. He was later employed by Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida where he retired in 1994. He, along with his family moved to California in 1995, and then to Oklahoma in 2004.

Funeral services will be held March 2nd at 1:00pm at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma under the direction of the Cunningham Funeral Home with the Reverand Curtis Riggen, who will officiate. A celebration of life will be held at Colbert Park afterwards. The register book may be signed and condolences sent to the family online @ cunninghamfuneralhomesok.com Arrangements are entrusted to longtime friend Carl Cunningham and Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
