Gloria Maxine Paddock McGee

Gloria Maxine (Paddock) McGee, of Caddo, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma. Born on August 9, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gloria's vibrant spirit brought joy to all who knew her throughout her 72 years of life.

Gloria's life was marked by her dedication to helping others, which she exemplified through her work as a nurse at a hospital on a military base. She earned her associate degree and used her education and compassion to make a difference in the lives of countless individuals.

Known to many as "Crazy Aunt Gloria," she had a sense of humor and lively spirit that won't easily be forgotten. She had a passion for cooking and enjoying her creations. Gloria showed her creativity in other areas such as arts, crafts, and gardening.

She is survived by her children including Kevin Paddock and his wife Tina of Ardmore, Stephanie Wolford and her husband David of Arkansas, Josh Coble and his wife Lisa of Colorado, Bobby McGee of Texas, Brandi Hutchins and her husband Wade of Armstrong, Oklahoma, and Lisianna Hall of Colorado. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren Chris Paddock, Jeff Paddock and his wife Tiffany, Mindy Aguilar and her husband Bobby, ZiaDawn Coble, Elizabeth Coble, Evelyn Hutchins, and Hailey McGee, as well as her treasured great-grandchildren.

Gloria's memory will be cherished and kept alive by the stories shared, the meals cooked in her honor, and the crafts created with her in mind. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, but her funny, creative, and spirited essence will continue to inspire those she loved.

Preceding her in death are her parents Lloyd and Maxine (Ikey) Paddock, her husband Joe P. McGee, her sister Georgiana Harmon, her brother Floyd Gene "Geno" Paddock, as well as many others.

Gloria's family will receive visitors at her Family Hour from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Anthony Williams officiating. Gloria will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery following her funeral service.

Those serving as pallbearers are Wade Hutchins, Chris Paddock, Bobby Aguilar, Jeff Paddock, Joey Bailey, and Billy Jay "BJ" Mullens.
