Norma Dean Harless Marsh

Caddo, OK- Norma Dean Marsh (Harless) passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 in Carrollton, TX at the age of 77. Norma was born on January 12, 1945 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the only child to Willis Harless and Robbie Winn. After the death of her parents, she was raised by her grandparents, Estella Winn and Floyd and Pearl Harless.

After graduating Soper High School in 1963, Norma married Jerry Marsh August 30 of that year. Norma went on to graduate from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, pursuing a career in elementary education. Norma and Jerry moved to Caddo, Oklahoma in 1974, opening Marsh Grocery and eventually Norma’s Jeans and Boots. Norma also ran the tag office in town.

Norma was active in the community as a member of Caddo Baptist Church, Caddo Roundup Club, and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. In addition, she was one of the founders of the Caddo Heritage Day.

Norma loved dancing, shopping, Western Swing music, the beach, and spending time at her cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Norma is survived by her daughter Cami Marsh, son Chad Marsh and wife Lauren, grandchildren Clara Marsh, Daniel Marsh, and Megan Gordon, as well as numerous loving cousins, family, and friends.
