Enid,Ok - The graveside service for John Luther Dunn, 72, of Canton, will be 2 p.m. today, Nov. 4, 2008, at Zion Mennonite Cemetery, south of Canton. The Rev. Richard Kahoe will officiate. Arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home, Fairview.

He was born Jan. 9, 1936, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Whitey Dunn and June Bradshaw and died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He lived in Midland, Texas, Fay and Canton, working as a mechanic, farm and ranch hand and handyman. He also worked for Christensen Implement Inc., Thomas, and Pollock Farms, Canton.

Surviving are his children, Randy, Rick and Shon, all of Oraville, Calif.; 11 stepchildren; three sisters, Lola, Joyce and Alta; his companion, Wilda Gould of Canton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother.
