Watonga – D. Lloyd Boon, 93, died Saturday at his home in Geary. The funeral will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday at the Nazarene Church in Watonga with the Rev. Robert Diamond officiating. Burial will be at West Mount Pleasant Cemetery, directed by Russworm Funeral Home.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U. S. Army, and a member of the VFW and American Legion.

Survivors include four daughters, Bertha Jeraldine Cain, Keystone, Leonora Ogle, Geary, Wretha Stewart, Douglas, Kansas, and Elmira Bridgeforth, Helena; three sons, Lloyd T. Boon, Okeene, William "Chap" Boon, Geary, and Darrow Boon, Greenfield; 39 grandchildren; a number of great – grandchildren; and four step children, Carolyn Murray, Helton, Sharon McDaniel, Lancaster, Ohio, Gary Bennett, Okeene, and Wayne Bennett, Enid.
