Anna Christine Ballew of Watonga, OK was born at home in Greenfield, OK on March 12, 1939 to Lowell and Minnie (Baumm) Rogers. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Watonga, OK at the age of 69. Christine graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Darrell Ballew on July 15, 1957. They made their home in Watonga, OK. Christine worked for Watonga Hospital for 17 years as a dietician. She also was an Avon representative for nearly 30 years. She was preceded in death by her father Lowell Rogers; husband Darrell Ballew; son Roger Ballew and infant son James Leroy Ballew; Christine is survived by one son, Lowell Ballew and wife Sandra of Watonga, OK; mother Minnie Rogers of Greenfield, OK; one brother James Rogers; one sister, Charlene Waggoner; five grandchildren, Michael Ballew, LaTricia (Ballew) Johnson, Roger Gordon, Kimberly Ballew and Tiffany Ballew; two great-grandchildren, Paizleigh Gordon and Brayson Gordon; Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2008 at Oasis Church in Watonga, OK with Pastor Dusty Giles officiating. Burial will follow in West Mount Pleasant Cemetery west of Watonga under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday. Condolences may be made online at Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home
