Jacquelene "Carole" (Knisley) Rumsey
February 15, 1943 ~ July 23, 2023

Carole was born in Watonga, Ok to her parents Carlie & Jack Knisley on February 15, 1943. Her mom Carlie remarried later to Glen Cofer who was in the service and thus Carole grew up living in Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado & California. Carole graduated high school from Derby, Kansas.

She married Louis J. Rumsey on March 27, 1991, in Oklahoma City, together they lived in Watonga, Elk City, Yukon & Mustang, Oklahoma. Carole spent her career in the Oil & Gas Industry working for companies, Center-Point Energy & Delhi Gas. Carole enjoyed spending time with her dogs, listening to country & western music and watching classic TV shows – her favorite was Perry Mason. Carole passed away on Sunday July 23, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK. She is survived by her husband Louis J. Rumsey. Her two dogs Ellie Mae and Keisha. Her daughter Sheila Fullbright, son in law Troy Fullbright and grandson Trevor Fullbright.

Funeral services for Jacqueline “Carole” Rumsey will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilkinson Mortuary, 208 N. Noble Avenue, Watonga, Oklahoma, with Pastor Troy Fullbright officiating. The burial will immediately follow, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, in Watonga, Oklahoma.
