DEAK ROHLING

The funeral for Deak Rohling, 95, of Watonga, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lutheran Church in Watonga. The Rev. Paul Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Watonga. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.

He was born Jan. 8, 1912, in Omega to Detlef and Alwina Husen Rohling, and died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007.

He lived and farmed in Omega and Watonga. He attended school at Cedar Valley, Lutheran school in Okarche, Omega schools and graduated from Watonga High School. He attended Oklahoma State University. He attended Lutheran church in Watonga. He was a charter member of the Blaine County Farm Bureau and was on the Soil Conservation board of directors.

He married Louise Reichenberg Dec. 21, 1941, in Watonga.

Surviving are his wife Louise, of the home; two daughters, Joyce Lorenz of Watonga and Debera Roberts of Winfield, Kan.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, one son, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to Watonga Hospital Foundation.
