Carole Jean (Bollinger) Nunn

Carole Jean (Bollinger) Nunn
October 31, 1938

Carole Jean Nunn was born October 31, 1938, at Eagle City, Oklahoma to Irvin and Ruth Bollinger and passed away December 22, 2021, at the age of 83.

Carole was raised on the farm west of Watonga, on the old golf course; she was a resident of the Watonga Community her entire life. Carol worked selling insurance for Cotton Insurance, before going on to work for Hoberecht Insurance for many many years in Watonga. Carole and her husband owned and operated the legendary T&C Auction in Watonga from 1970 to 1982. She attended Watonga High School and graduated in 1956, and was married to Theron Nunn that same year, at Watonga, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin, and Ruth Bollinger; her husband, Theron; her sisters, Peg, Cleo, and Doris; as well as one infant brother.

She is survived by:

One son……………………….. Mike Nunn of Canton, Oklahoma.

Sister-in-laws……………….. Nola and Rodney Davis of Canton, Oklahoma; Coleta and Sandy Stark, of Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Brother-in-law…………….. Leon Nunn and wife, Lyn of Thomas, Oklahoma.

As well as several nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Carole Nunn will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Nazarene Church in Watonga, OK, with Reverend Jim Constant officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK, with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
