Emily Raelynn Morton
April 13, 2011 ~ December 24, 2023

Emily Raelynn Morton was born on April 13, 2011, and left this earth on December 24, 2023. Emily is a beautiful 12-year-old Cheyenne and Arapaho 6th grader at Watonga Middle School. She is the daughter of Stephanie and Levi Big Eagle and the late Alan Morton; sister to Sophia and Mavis, and granddaughter to Robert Brooks and Mary Onco, affectionately known as “Poppa & GiGi”. Those who know Emily know: Emily is a talented artist… Emily loves kittens and cats… Emily loves to draw and paint… Emily loves playing games on her phone… Emily loves playing Xbox with her online friends… Emily has a cat named Star, she had since a kitten and loves her very much… Emily worries about others more than herself… All love Emily.

She is survived by her mother and father, Stephanie and Levi Big Eagle; sisters Sophia and Mavis Morton; Poppa Robert Brooks and GiGi Mary Onco; great-grandmother Ruth Brooks; and cousin Avelyn Laster all of Watonga, OK; and many cousins, aunties, uncles, and grandparents. She is preceded in death by her father, Alan Morton; and two uncles JB and Pat Yellowman. The family of Emily Morton thanks all for the prayers, thoughts, and kind words during this difficult time.

Wake services will be at 6:00 p.m., Thursday evening, December 28, 2023 at the Indian Baptist Church, Watonga, OK. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Watonga Emergency Response Center in Watonga, OK with Pastor Waylan Upchego officiating. Interment will follow at the Watonga IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
