Roger William Lamothe, Jr.
January 11, 1942 ~ March 18, 2023

Roger William Lamothe, Jr. was born January 11, 1942, at Worcester, MA, to Roger Sr. and Doris Lamothe, and passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 81.

He was a resident of the Watonga community for the last 60 years, where he was a commercial electrician, owning and operating Lamothe Electric for many years before retiring in 2016. Roger went into the U.S. Navy to serve in 1960. Having grown-up with military parents, he attended school all over, including Germany and South Dakota, but he graduated in Oklahoma, from Dill City high school. He really enjoyed hunting, participating in fishing tournaments, and loved spending time with his hunting buddies. He married Francis (Fran) Dennis, at Watonga, OK, on January 31, 1964, and they celebrated 59 years together.

Roger is proceeded in death by his parents, one brother, Richard Lamothe, one sister, Ann Smith, brother-in-law, Ricky Dennis, as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Loretta Young.

He is survived by his wife, Fran, of the home in Watonga, OK, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Athena Price, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Roger will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with Pastor Adam Lovitt officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
