Frankie Louise (Pierce) Humphrey
December 19, 1934 ~ September 27, 2020

Frankie Humphrey was born December 19, 1934 at Watonga, Oklahoma to James (Jim) & Frankie Pierce, and passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the age of 85.

She was a resident of Watonga and spent her adult years in the Watonga community, where she was a Soda “Jerk”, Legal Assistant, and was an Owner/Operator of a small business.

She graduated from Watonga High School and attended Oklahoma A & M University (OSU). She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Watonga and was involved in local charity work.

She was married to Dorman (Pete) Humphrey, at the First Baptist Church in Enid, OK on September 5, 1953.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Billy Pierce, daughter, Debbie Dickson & son, Bobby Humphrey.

She is survived by one brother, Jim Pierce of Watonga, daughter Rhonda & husband, Randy Fisher of Garden City, KS, son-in-law, Brian Dickson of Guthrie, OK, seven grandchildren: Shawn Gallardo & partner Brad Ross of Garden City, KS, Amy & husband, John Burdick of Edmond, OK, Cole & wife, Katie Dunn of Kansas City, MO, Ty & wife, Sarah Hoar of Shawnee, KS, Cody & wife Stephanie Fisher of Overland Park, KS, Brooke & husband, Lance Brooks of Stephenville, TX, Erick & wife Beth Dickson of Albany, CA and thirteen great grandchildren: Christopher Jones, Alyssa Jones, Gage Gallardo, Cade Dunn, Gracie Dunn, Annaleigh Dunn & Colton Hoar, Bryce Fisher, Salem, Dawson & Bristol Brooks, Colin & Josh Dickson, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

She was an avid gardener, collector of dishes, shoes, sweaters & turtlenecks.  She loved canning fruits & vegetables.  Along with being a perfectionist caregiver, she adored spending time with her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Frankie Humphrey will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Watonga with Rev. Jim Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Watonga, with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association, or the First Baptist Church in Watonga.
