Bernice Edna (Christie) Henderson

???? ~ June 10, 1999 | Age 84

Watonga – A graveside service for Bernice Edna Henderson, 84, will be 2 PM Sunday at I00F Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Hall will officiate. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home.

She was born in Alliance to Grover and Bessie Christie and died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Watonga.

She grew up in Jamestown, Pennsylvania, and taught school for 12 years. She moved to California where she taught adult education and owned a restaurant. She married Charles Henderson in September 1970. Then moved to Watonga in 1971.

Surviving are step sons, David Henderson and Warren Henderson of California; nieces, Sharon Reiber of Watonga and Debra Floyd of Carrollton, Texas; a nephew, Richard Cherry of Greenbeir, Tennessee; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
