Kenneth Franks

Kenneth Franks
April 26, 1933 ~ January 15, 2022

Kenneth Franks was born April 26, 1933, at Milburn, Oklahoma to Eron and Audie Franks and passed away Saturday January 15, 2022, at the age of 88.

Kenneth was a resident of the Watonga community for most of his life. He owned and operated Dewey’s Boot Repair and Western Store in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, afterward, he was the park superintendent at Roman Nose State Park in the late 1970’s. Kenneth also worked for John Thompson Enterprises driving a semi-truck for many years. He graduated from Watonga High School.

He married Linda Willhoite at Watonga, Oklahoma in 2006.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Henry Lee and Wayne Franks, and one son; Mike Franks.

He is survived by his wife Linda of the home in Watonga.

Two sons…………………….. Jeff Franks and wife Jan of Watonga, OK

……………………………………. Don Franks of Dayton Beach, Florida.

One daughter………………. Vivian Duffy of Watonga, OK

One daughter-in-law……. Tina Williams of Cordell, OK

One sister-in-law………….. Wanda Franks of Tempe Arizona

Seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery Chapel. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.
