Dwayne Otis Edsall

Dwayne Otis Edsall
April 19, 1931 ~ February 6, 2022

Dwayne Otis Edsall was born April 19, 1931, at Watonga, Oklahoma, to James and Zella Maddux Edsall, and passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the age of 90.

He was a resident of the Watonga community for his entire life, where he was farmer. Dwayne attended and graduated from Watonga High School in 1949 and was drafted into the United States Army in 1952, where he was a radio operator. He was a member of the American Legion. He had a strong passion for music, and farming, as well. He married the love of his life, Freda Clark, on February 4, 1955; together, they celebrated 67 years of marriage. Dwayne loved his family dearly and he will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mayrene Wray, one son, Steven Edsall, and one son-in-law, Malcom Simmons.

He is survived by his wife, Freda, of the home in Watonga, Oklahoma.

One son…………………………………. Roger Edsall, of Watonga, Oklahoma.

One daughter………………………… Lisa Simmons, of Watonga, Oklahoma.

One sister………………………..……. Allene Farmer, of Garland, Texas.

Seven grandchildren……………... Keli Laminack, Melissa Simmons, J.D. Edsall, Kim Earp, Heather Simmons, Justin Simmons, and Tim Edsall.

Six great-grandchildren…………. Cole Brewer, Josh Edsall, Ethan Earp, Jace Simmons, Emily Earp, and Kaylee Simmons, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Dwayne O. Edsall will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Reverend Jim Constant officiating, and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
