Webb J. Anderson

April 22, 1904 ~ July 30, 1991

Great Bend, Kansas – Graveside service for Webb J. Anderson, 87, who died July 30 at Great Bend, was August 3 in Watonga I00F Cemetery.

He was born April 22, 1904, in Oklahoma Territory, to William A. and Lucretia Waters Anderson. He lived in Loyal, Watonga and Greenfield.

In the early years, the Anderson's lived in the Covington – Garber area. He joined Sinclair Oil Company, retiring after 25 years in August 1962 at Plainville, Kansas. He then operated Andy's Kirby Company at Salina, Kansas, until failing health caused him to close the business. They moved to Great Bend in 1987 to be near their daughter.

Surviving are his wife, Blanche of 65 years, Ellinwood, Kansas; one son, Lester of Guymon; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Shirley) Dreiling of Ellinwood and Caroll June Rosin of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Carl (Ruby) Frech of Enid; eight grandchildren; and nine great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons, and 11 brothers and sisters.
