OKEENE - Funeral for Lorena "Duke" Ellington, of Okeene, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Seventh-day Adventist Church, Okeene, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery . Memorial reception with family present is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., Okeene.

Duke was a registered nurse and was instrumental in starting Okeene EMS for which she was the director for many years.

Survivors are son, Sidney Ellington; daughter, Patricia Ellington; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
