Betty Jo Blunk
(January 1, 1935 - June 12, 2016)

The funeral for Betty Jo Blunk, 81 year-old Enid resident, will be 10:00am Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Garriott Road Church of Christ. Ray Rose will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene, officiated by Richard Kliewer. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Betty was born January 1, 1935 in Okeene to John and Elizabeth (Seebold) Tice and died June 12, 2016 in Enid. She attended Okeene schools and graduated from Okeene High School with the class of 1953. On May 6, 1953 she married Carl Blunk in Okeene. Carl was entered into the U.S. Army six days later and when his service was complete the couple made their home in Enid.

Betty held various jobs but she was extremely proud of being the owner and operator of B&B Enterprise. She was a long-time member of Garriott Road Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughter, Pamela Sue; five brothers and two sisters.

Betty is survived by sons, Kenneth Wayne Blunk and wife, Peggy, Enid; Steve Blunk, Enid; Scott Blunk and wife, Serena, Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Randy; Shaun; Melissa; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Tice and Joe Tice as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her four-legged friend, "Zoey".

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please give to Garriott Road Church of Christ or the charity of choice. Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home will act as custodian of the funds.
