Doris Jean Bisel

January 19, 1926 - November 6, 2020

Doris Jean Bisel, 94, of Okeene, passed away November 6, 2020. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Okeene, Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene.

January 19, 1926 ~ November 6, 2020

Doris Jean Bisel was born January 19, 1926 at Okeene, Oklahoma to Wyatt and Jessie Ann (Hayworth) Cobb and passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 94.

Doris was a resident of the Okeene community most of her life where she was a cashier for Pioneer Telephone for over 20 years.

She was a graduate of Okeene High School in 1944. Doris was a member of the First Baptist church in Okeene where she taught bible class over the years. She was a huge OKC Thunder fan and loved raising cattle as a farmer/rancher. Doris also loved her dogs dearly.

She married Robert Bisel at Okeene, Oklahoma on August 11, 1949.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by one son: Robert Bisel Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, one daughter; Amanda Haffey and husband Bill of Edmond, OK, and one granddaughter; Megan Haffey of Oklahoma City, OK as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Doris will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020 AT 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Okeene, with Rev. Gaylon Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene, OK. Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene in charge of arrangements. www.wilkinsonmortuary.com

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
