Glenna Bisel

Glenna Carol Bisel was born to Orval and Leah Reames on November 28, 1932 in Okeene. She and Harold Bisel were married on July 2, 1950 at Okeene. She lived all of her life near Okeene and Ames. She was a faithful member of the Ames Baptist Church for many years, where she taught Sunday School Classes. She loved gardening, crocheting and other crafts in addition to being a devoted mother and grandmother.

Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; an infant son and an infant daughter; her parents, Orval and Leah Reames; two brothers, Clayton Reames and Guy Mac Reames.

Surviving are her sons, Kelly Bisel and wife, Melody of Ames, Darin Bisel and wife, Sheila of Canon City, Colorado; six grandchildren, Brice, Sawyer, Tara, Traci, Melissa and Jennifer; great granddaughters, Tarren, Tori, Kayci, Brooklyn, Camryn, Hayden, Falynn, Ashlynn, Paige and Karlie and a great grandson, T. J.

Funeral service for Glenna will Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Ames Baptist Church with burial in Roselawn Cemetery near Okeene. Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Lanman Funeral Home in Okeene.

Memorials may be made to Ames Baptist Church or Ames Fire Department through the funeral home.
