Mattie A. (Mills) Allen

November 17, 1878 ~ March 22, 1956

Okeene – funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Allen, 77, who passed away Thursday at the home of her daughter in Oklahoma City, will be conducted at 2:30 PM today in the Keller – Landes funeral home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was born November 17, 1878 in Iowa. She was a long – time resident of the Okeene community.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alice Mauk, 1831 Northwest 13th, Oklahoma City and Mrs. Olive Kelley, Alhambra, California, and one granddaughter, Mrs. Tommy Seay, Tulsa.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Allen will be Roy Broadey, Earl Broadey, Kenneth Murrell, Mickey Williams, Enoch Kotsmith and Fenton Carver.
