Clarence Robert Parker was born July 14, 1920, in Agusta, Kan., to George and Martha (Wing) Parker. He departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, in Okeene, Okla.

He was one of 12 brothers and sisters.

Bob was an investigator in the U.S. Army and after discharge moved to Enid, Okla., and opened Duffy's Café.

He married Alice Henneke Helberg. Later he built and opened Parker's Café and later the Flamingo Lounge, which he operated for 45 years and supported his family working long hours. He was a member of the Sheriffs and Peace-officers and the Masonic Lodge. After his retirement, he and "Mickie" moved to Longdale, Okla. His beloved wife passed away in 1989.

In 1990, he met Betty Roof, and she remained loyal and at his side for 20 years.

Bob's survivors are one daughter, Peggy Williams of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one son, Larry Parker and wife Barbara of Nicoma Park, Okla.; three grandchildren, Scott Parker, Jodie Ann Hodges and Dustin Williams; four great-grandchildren, Chase Parker, Parker Hodges, Madison Hodges and Hallie Hodges.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, in Waukomis Cemetery with Steve Driskill officiating. Masonic rites will be performed by Canton Masonic Lodge 418.

Memorial donations may be made to O.M.R.F., diabetes division, through the funeral home at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724.
