EVA MARGARET GRATER


ENID - Interment service for Eva Margaret Grater will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Pueblo, Colo., under the kind guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Mrs. Grater was born Nov. 26, 1920, in Victor, Colo., the daughter of Walter Cecil and Mabel Moore Vick and passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at her residence.

She was raised in Victor, later moving to Denver, where she graduated from Denver South High School.

Mrs. Grater married Lee Roy Grater on May 24, 1947.

She worked as the dietary supervisor for the State of Colorado for 27 years, retiring in 1983.

Mrs. Grater was Methodist by faith. A member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3641 of Pueblo, Colo.

In January 2009, Mrs. Grater moved with her son and daughter-in-law to Enid.

Survivors include son, Lee Ralph and wife Therese A. Grater of the residence and four nieces.

Mrs. Grater was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister, Norma Duane.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to VFW Post 3641 in Pueblo, Colo., where Eva and her husband were longtime members, with Stittsworth's coordinating.
