Born: September 14, 1958
Died: February 18, 2016

Funeral Services for Janice Marie Pembrook, age 57, of Longdale, will be held 1:30 p.m., February 23, 2016 at Longdale Baptist Church, with burial in the Longdale Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 1 pm to 5 pm and Monday, February 22, 9 am to 8 pm.

Janice was born September 14, 1958 in Brownsville, Texas to Ron Carr and Shirley (Quillian) Carr and passed away February 18, 2016 at her home in Longdale, Oklahoma.

As a young girl her family moved to Enid, where she grew up and graduated from Enid High School. After graduation she went to NOC and then NOC OSU and obtained an Associate’s Degree. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and was on the Dean’s Honor Roll.

Janice married Billy Pembrook and for 29 years dedicated her life to being a wife, mother and grandmother. Janice was loved by those that knew her and will truly be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Billy J. Pembrook; children, Terry Gould and wife Lynn, Mandie Groene and husband LeRoy, Chris Pembrook and wife Angel, Kimberly Gambill, Susie Pembrook and Jamie Seager all of Longdale; 16 grandchilren, 5 great grandchildren

Janice was preceded in death by her mother and 2 brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Baptist Church in Longdale with Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian.
