Henry H. Kopf
(March 13, 1931 - February 5, 2008)

Funeral services for Henry H. Kopf, 76, longtime resident of Longdale, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Longdale Gymnasium with Jerry Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in Longdale Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home of Canton, OK. Henry was born March 13, 1931 at Homestead, Oklahoma to Alois and Irene (Gray) Kopf. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Okeene Municipal Hospital.

Henry graduated from Southard High School and attended one year of college. He served 23 years in the U.S. Navy and attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Henry married Iris Robertson on April 6, 1951 at Okeene, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Canton Church of Christ.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Elsie Floyd; and one brother, Virgil Kopf; Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Iris Kopf of the home; three children, son Wendell Kopf and wife Golda of Pearland, TX, daughter Kathy Kopf of Enid, OK, and son Paul Kopf and wife Becki of Longdale, OK; six grandchildren, J.R. Kopf of Alva, OK, Kathleen Lambert of Pearland, TX, Karla of Pearland, TX, Nicholas Holdeman of Alva, OK , Kevin Holdeman serving in Kuwait, and Alishia Holdeman of Longdale, OK.
