Deceased: Louise Reames
Date: September 28, 2009

The funeral for Louise Reames, 90, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at Okeene United Methodist Church. The Rev. George Rowe will officiate. Burial will be in Homestead Cemetery . Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Okeene. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and the casket will be open before the service at the church.

She was born April 21, 1919, in Okeene to Adam and Elizabeth Dell Nusz and died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at Summit Living Center, Okeene.

Louise graduated from Okeene High School and lived her life in the Okeene area, except for one year she lived in Watonga. She was a cook for Okeene Public Schools and Okeene Hospital.

She was a member of Okeene United Methodist Church, senior citizens center, fair board, election board and a bridge club.

Surviving are her children, Alvin LeRoy Eaton of Belle Aire, Kan., Janice Newman of Fairview, Jim Masonhall of Cypress, Texas, JoAnn Urban of Waynoka, Joyce Wears of Elk City and Connie Becker of Fairview; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Alvin Eaton, Joe Masonhall and Arlo Reames; one daughter; and three brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Okeene United Methodist Church.
