The funeral for Rose E. Stevenson, 83, of Enid, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God in Christ. Robert Robinson will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Watonga. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home, Enid.

She was born April 25, 1922, in Naples, Texas, to Luke Hartfield and Sarah Hill and died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at her home.

She worked at Enid State School and was a member of First Church of God in Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Ann Lawrence and Opaline Lynn, both of Enid; five sons, Herman Starks of New Orleans, Lawrence Starks, Jerry Steven-son and Albert Stevenson, all of Enid and Robert Stevenson of Woodward; two sisters, Marie Buttler of Enid and Mae Branch of Oklahoma City; one brother, Mose Hartfield of Enid; 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
