Keith "Randy" Randall Whittle
(June 23, 1967 - January 19, 2015)

Funeral services for Keith "Randy" Randall Whittle Jr., 47, of Colorado Springs, CO will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Canton Christian Church with Pastor Justin Brodie officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Eagle City Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK.

Randy was born June 23rd, 1967 to Joyce (Abshire) Cravens and Keith Randall Whittle in Oklahoma City, OK. He departed this life on Monday, January 19th, 2015 at Colorado Springs, CO. After graduating from Canton High School in 1985, he joined the U.S. Army. He proudly served for 27 years which included 2 tours in Korea, 1 in Afghanistan and 3 in Iraq. During his service he received numerous awards including a Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal and Meritorious Service Medal (6th Award) for outstanding service and achievements. Randy retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 on February 28th 2013.

Randy was united in marriage to Debra Charrette-Orr on February 24th, 1990. Their son Kyle Ross was born August 21st, 1997.

Randy enjoyed spending time outdoors riding his Harley. He spent many hours building RC airplanes and flying them. He also participated in competitive trap shooting with his son Kyle. On the weekends Randy enjoyed working on his vehicles, listening to music, working in the yard and cooking on the grill. He was excited about Kyle starting college in the fall.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Jeanne Abshire of Canton, OK and paternal grandparents Robert and Nadine Whittle of Atoka, OK. Randy is survived by his wife Debra and son Kyle, of Colorado Springs, CO; his mother, Joyce (Abshire) Cravens of Fairview, OK; father Keith Whittle of Portland, OR; sister Traci (Whittle) West and husband Sylvester of Rogers, AR; younger brother Trey O’Nan and wife Jennifer of Moore, OK; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com.
