ENID — Gary Weathers was born in Enid, OK, March 6, 1956, to Ray and Claudia Weathers. Gary passed away in his home in Meno, OK, June 10, 2011.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Indian Creek Village Chapel in Ringwood, OK. Visitation with Gary and the family will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home at Canton, OK, and 1 p.m. at Indian Creek Village Chapel before the service. Family and friends are welcome to stay and visit after the services. Gary will be laid at rest at the Eagle City Cemetery with the presence of his wife, children and grandchildren.

Gary grew up near Meno, OK, and graduated from school in Ringwood, OK. He went to work in the oil fields and started driving Rig up trucks and soon became the best tandem driver out there. Most of you in the oil field know him as Weinie. He was a very lucky man to have known all of you he worked with.

New Year's Eve 1978, Gary met and soon married the love of his life, Kathy. At that time Gary had 2 boys and Kathy had 2 girls. They became a family September 11, 1979, at the Ringwood Methodist Church. They lived in the Ringwood, OK, area a few years, then moved to the Cedar Springs and Canton, OK, areas. Then in 2007 they bought a home in Meno, OK.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Ray.

Gary is survived by his wife Kathy and seven children: Son Chad Weathers and wife Sandy of Meno, OK, daughter Regina Slovacek and husband Judd of Helena, OK, son Garrett Weathers of Enid, OK, daughter Jessica Gray and Kalupe Cramer of Edmond, OK, son GW Weathers and wife Samantha of Ringwood, OK, daughter Jerrica Weathers of Meno, OK, and son-in-law Stephen Carson of Homestead, OK and daughter Destinie Weathers of the home, and 11 grandchildren: Bradon, Cole, Hadley, Draven, Jaiden, Xaylen, Dylan, Rathen, Kelsi and Shaun, and papaw's little guy Jarrett.

Gary has a sister, Sharon Nightengale, and husband Maynard of Drummond, OK, and a brother, Rick Weathers, and wife Linda of Marshall, OK; many nieces and nephews; and his extended oil field family.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Hospice Circle of Love with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724. Condolences may be made online at www. haiglerpierce.com.
