GERALD F. MCMINDES

CANTON - The funeral for Gerald F. McMindes, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Eagle City Christian Church with the Rev. Alvin Clamp officiating. Burial will be in Eagle City Cemetery under direction of Haigler Funeral Home, Canton.

He died Saturday in Los Alamites, California. He was born January 11, 1911, in Eagle City. McMindes married Lois Waggoner on May 28, 1936, at Watonga.

They lived in Southard until 1938, when they moved to Burbank, California. He was a retired manufacturing engineer for Lockheed Aerospace. He was also a director of Sons of the American Revolution, Harbor Chapter in Long Beach.

He is survived by his wife, Lois of the home in Seal Beach, California; a daughter Jarilyn Anzallo of Burbank, California; a sister, Anna Jane Grey of Branson, Missouri; and a grandson.

Memorials may be made to Eagle City Christian Church.
