Peter Aaron Herod
(September 30, 1963 - December 28, 2014)
A memorial service for Peter Aaron Herod, 51, of Edmond, OK, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2015 at Canton Christian Church with Pastor Jim Forrest officiating. Inurnment will follow in Eagle City Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.
Peter Aaron Herod was born to Robert M. “Pete” & Yvonne Rae (Bonnie) Herod September 30, 1963, in Boulder, Colorado. He passed away December 28, 2014, in Oklahoma City at age 51. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Shelly Herod, of the home; two children, daughter D’Andra Parsons and husband Chayne of Davis, and son Dustin Brodrick and wife Dusti of Kingfisher; his parents, Pete and Bonnie Herod, of Canton; a brother, Rick Herod, of Canton; a nephew, Andy Herod, of Ashville, North Carolina; a niece, Carrie Lingerfelt and husband Lance, of Johnson City, Tennessee; a nephew, Peter Herod and wife Anna, of Denver, Colorado; a niece, Brittany Parker and husband Alan of Longdale; 5 grandchildren, Ava Pearl, Alivia, and Jack Parsons of Davis, and Hinsley Brodrick and baby Brodrick of Kingfisher; great nieces and nephews Eli, Willa Kate, and Silas Lingerfelt of Johnson City, Tennessee; San Pablo and Judah Herod of Denver, Colorado; and Westynn Parker and baby Parker of Longdale. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Adam Herod and Bob Herod. Memorials may be made to the Canton Community of Christ in care of Charlene Diamond, R.R. 2, Box 335, Watonga, OK 73772.
