Nothing was wasted from the freshly butchered beef. Many Sunday afternoons were spent taking long walks down the country roads with the grandkids while she was telling them stories and looking for doodle bugs. She loved telling her grandkids how good she was at playing baseball. She grew up with brothers and was a tomboy!
