Janis Carol Burdick

Janis Carol Burdick was born December 11, 1936 in Missouri to Maude Cecil and Henry Wyatt Burdick. She passed away September 19, 2014 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 8 days. Janis grew up in Dumas, Texas where she graduated from high school. She worked as a secretary at an insurance agency before moving to Breckenridge, Texas. Janis worked for a few years as a clerk at a gift shop until she became a Custodian for a local church. After her retirement in 2002, she moved to Erick to make her home. Janis was a member of the Texola Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bennie George Burdick.

She is survived by her niece, CaSandra Bass and husband and Buck, Erick, OK; a nephew, Carl Wayne Burdick, Breckenridge, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Texola cemetery officiated by Bro. Charlie Floyd. Arrangements are under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
