Eva V. Engelhart

Miss Eva V. Engelhart was born December 6, 1873 in River Falls, Wisconsin and passed away Monday, October 3, 1949, at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil D. Conrad of reydon, at the age of 75 years, nine months and 27 days.
She was united in marriage to Vernon D. Reynolds of Riber Falls, Wisconsin, July 3, 1892.
To this union seven children were born, all living and at her bedside, but two who were unable to come. She was raised as a Catholic, until later life she united with the Methodist Church at Reydon, and lived a Christina life to the end.
The family moved to Phoenix, Arizona for a year and to Edmond, Okla. in 1909 and to Rankin in 1915, where they have resided since. Mr. Reynolds preceded her in death July 22, 1941.
Mrs. Reynolds was a faithful mother and helpful neighbor, always ready to do her duty until she was paralized almost 4 years ago. All that medical skill and loving care could do was provided for her. Her friends were numbered by thoss who knew her.
She leaves to mourn her passing her seven children: Ben V. Reynolds of Yuma, Arizona, Marion R. Reynolds of Liberal, Missouri, Mrs. Gladys N. Doty, Mrs. Edith A. Conrad and LaVern L. Reynolds, all of Reydon, Mrs. Alverta J. beierschmitt and Marvin V. Reynolds of Elk City. Nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, also survive besides two sisters, Mrs. Joe Doorack of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mrs. Andrew Reuck of Backus, Minn., and two brothers, Andrew Englehart of Minnesota and Henry Englehart of Wisconsin and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 5, 1949 at the Community building with Rev. J.L. Davis, assisted by Rev. Horace Woodard officiating. Burial was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with the Fatheree Funeral Home of Erick in charge .
Relatvies and friends from a distance who attended Mrs. Reynolds funeral besides the immediate family were: Mrsa. Anna reynolds, Hobbs, New Mexico, and son-in-law, Mr. T.W. Hollis, Andrews, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Smith, Oklahoma City, OK, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Alexander and Cathy Lynn, Ponca City, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Marriott, Clinton, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Billy H. Beierschmitt, Billy Ray and Linda Kay of Elk City, Okla. The friends who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. R.P. Grayson, Louis Wayne and Bobbie Joe of Dumas, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Uulman Grayson, Mrs. Odie Webster of Erick, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blackburn, Elk City, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Kendall, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Marriott, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Norrell, Sayre, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lena Bednar and daughter, Mrs. alice Lawson, Bethany, Oklahoma, Mr. L.L. Males, Mrs. John Vincent and Mrs. Viola Conrad, Cheyenne.
