Eutha E. Simmons was born January 23, 1932 east of Elk City, Oklahoma to Letha Gertrude (Hoover) and Clebert Ellison Penick. She passed away March 15, 2014 in Moore, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 1 month and 22 days.

She was married to Jerry S. Simmons at Elk City, Oklahoma on June 27, 1958. They lived in Elk City where Eutha worked for J. C. Penny and later the Kellwood Factory in Clinton. They moved to Clinton and then to Lawton before moving back to Elk City in 1980 and she worked
for the Carpet and Drapery Nook. They returned to Lawton where Jerry retired after 52 years in 2001. They moved to Moore, Oklahoma in 2002 to make their home. Eutha loved to sew and cook while taking care of her grandchildren.

She was a member of the Barnes Church of Christ, Midwest City, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Eulene Dunlap and Lorene Bowman, brother, Richard Penick, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of the home; 2 daughters, Juanita Noakes and husband, Kirk, Elk City, OK, Jeannie Jobe and husband, Ted, Elk City, OK; 2 sons, James Cupp, Elk City, OK, Michael Cupp, Moore, OK; 1 sister, Wilma Revels, Bethany, OK; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
