Vivian (Bayless) Seidner

Vivian Seidner was born March 18, 1922 in Carthage, Missouri to Beatrice A. (Jeffries) and Marshall L. Bayless. She passed away September 7, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 96 years, 5 months, and 20 days.
 

Vivian grew up in Carthage, Missouri being part of a family of 5 daughters and 2 sons. She was married at the age of 16 to Henry Paul Seidner in Carthage, Missouri on November 2, 1938. Throughout the years they have cherished just short of 80 years of marriage. After World War II, and Henry was discharged they moved to Elk City where they made their home. In 1973 Vivian purchased the Lad 'N Lassie children's clothing store where she owned and operated it until it's closing in 2004 when she retired. Vivian and Henry spent their retirement traveling to visit family and especially enjoyed their cruise to Alaska. Vivian was also a member of the Elk City First Baptist Church.
 

She is preceded in death by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, of almost 80 years, Henry, Elk City, OK; 2 children, Sherry Rao, Katy, TX and Michael Seidner and wife, Joana, Canela, Brazil; 7 grandchildren, Danna Fenske, Bruce Wedding, Terri Wedding, Michael Seidner, Jr., Tatiana Palma, Toni Rao and Dennis Rao, Jr.; 4 great grandchildren, Tyler Fenske, Sarah Fenske, Brandon Wedding and Paul Wedding; 2 great great grandchildren, Danni Wedding and Addy Wedding and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Elk City First Baptist Church at 1600 W. Country Club Blvd., Elk, OK 73644. Arrangements are under the direction of Whinery Funeral Services.
