Clara H. (Ohm) Sample

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Sample 1529 W 9th Circle, Elk City, were conducted from the Martin Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 9, 1974 at 10:30 a.m. With Rev. Jack Atkinson officiating. 

Burial was followed in Fairlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Sample was born in Swanton, Neb., on February 4, 1888, and passed away in Community Hospital on July 5, 1974.  She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Sample was married to Henry Clarence Sample on December 16, 1910 at Orlando, Oklahoma.  Mr. Sample preceded her in death on January 10, 1943.  She had made her home in Elk City the past two years, and was a member of the United Methodidst Church.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Mrs. M. L. (Cloetta) Kelly of Elk City; 4 grandchildren, Mrs. Davied Coleman, Orem, Uah, Milton L. Kelly, Jr., of Ft. Rucker, Ala., Duane Sample of Omaha, Nebraska, and Stephen Sample of Abilene, Texas; and 5 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sample was a resident of Cheyenne for many years.
