Graveside funeral services for Hazel Lorene Robinson, 92, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, OK with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Hazel was born on January 1, 1917 in Berlin, OK to William R. and Ethel (Atwood) Webb. She died Thursday, September 3, 2009 in Guthrie.

Hazel was baptized into Christ at an early age at Taylor Church of Christ, south of Elk City, on August 13, 1930 in Elk Creek. She graduated Highway School, south of Elk City on April 5, 1935 and worked for OCC for five years. She married Paul Wood in Elk City on December 25, 1940. She married Carl C. Robinson in Carter, OK on October 31, 1969.

She is survived by son Paul E. Wood and wife Saundra of Tulsa, OK; sister Lillie Mae Holland of Elk City; sister-in-law Bulah Webb of Canute, OK; nephew Bob Robinson and wife Louise of Guthrie; two grandsons Paul E. Wood, Jr. and Lynn Wood and wife Toni; two great-grandchildren Bell and Ben; and numerous family members.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husbands Paul Wood in 1953 and Carl Robinson in 2007; two brothers Chester Webb and Charlie Webb; and one grandson Shawn.

Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poplar & Warner Church of Christ, House on Pine, 320 North Poplar, Guthrie, OK 73044.
