Brett Anthony Montgomery, Jr. was born December 26, 1980 in Pampa, Texas to Donna Lee and Brett Anthony Montgomery, Sr.. He passed away April 1, 2014 at Kingfisher, Oklahoma at the age of 33 years, 3 months and 5 days.

Brett lived and grew up in McLean, Texas where he graduated from high school in 2000. He began working as a carpenter before beginning to work in the petroleum industry. He was married to Terry Lynn (Hair) at Wheeler, Texas on June 25, 2002. Brett began working for Galmor's Inc. in 2008 and the family moved to Elk City, Oklahoma to make their home. At 6 foot 8 inches his presence was known, but to those who knew him, he was a gentle giant. He loved to hunt, fish, ride motorcycles, play pool and spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Terry, of the home; four children, Mallorie Jayde Petty, Pampa, TX, Ethan Montgomery, Jozlynn and Zoe Montgomery, all of the home; his mother, Donna Montgomery, Cheyenne, OK; his father, Brett Montgomery and wife, Teresa, Elk City, OK; mother and father-in-law, Sheila and Grover Mack, Shamrock, TX; 1 sister, Jamie Green and husband, Donny, Hobbs, NM; 2 brothers, Jason Hooper, Elk City, OK, Coy Tolleson, Panhandle, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
