Gary McSperitt was born August 19, 1988 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Mary Elizabeth and Gary Lynn McSperitt. He passed away March 26, 2012 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 23 years, 7 months and 7 days.

Gary grew up and spent his entire life in the Elk City area. He graduated from Elk City high school in 2007. During the summers, while in high school, he worked with his father in the oil field. After graduation he furthered his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Sayre. In 2009, Gary and Lauren were blessed with a daughter, Kahli Elizabeth Lynn McSperitt. Throughout the past couple years Gary provided for his family by working in the oil field. He was a member of the Elk City First Baptist Church and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, going to the lake and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Lynn McSperitt II, 4 grandparents, Atla and Mildred McSperitt and Herbert and Rita Weaver.

He is survived by his fiance', Lauren Millican; daughter, Kahli Elizabeth Lynn McSperitt, and one child on the way, all of the home; his parents, Gary and Elizabeth McSperitt, Elk City, OK; 2 sisters, Angela Smith and husband, James, Oklahoma City, OK, Lisa Earnest, Tupelo, MS; 1 brother, Shawn McSperitt, Oklahoma City, OK and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 10:00 am at Elk City First Baptist Church officiated by Danny Ringer.

Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.
