Lula Faye Croskey McDaniel was born May 7, 1936 in Woodward County, Oklahoma to Nettie Bea and Charles Croskey. She passed away October 18, 2002 at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years 5 months and 11 days.

Faye grew up in Fairview, Oklahoma.

She married Armand K. McDaniel at Enid, Oklahoma on August 17, 1950.

They lived in Kansas and Guymon, Oklahoma before moving to Elk City in 1975 to make their home.

She was a preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Velma Slater.

Services were held Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Whinery-Savage Chapel, officiated by Rev. T. D. Gifford. Burial was at the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.

Survivors include three children, Shirley McDaniel of Edmond, Oklahoma; David and wife Clarice of Bessie, Oklahoma; Shelly Little and husband, Wayne of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Tana, Celeste, Justin, Amber, Grabriel, Adam and Gina; three great granddaughters, Lauren, Jacquelyn and Alisa; sisters, Bernice Wilcox of Elk City, Oklahoma; Mary Robbins, Chickasha, Oklahoma; Sue Geiger of Fairlawn, Oklahoma; June East of Binger, Oklahoma; Louise Gilbert of Louisiana; brothers, Chuck Croskey of Elk City, Oklahoma; Calr Croskey of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Dean Croskey of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma; Mike Croskey of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma; Dale Gilbert of Binger, Oklahoma; Frank Croskey of El Reno, Oklahoma; Eugene Gilbert of Binger, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family request memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Society or the American Cancer Society.
