Wanda Lou Martindale was born August 23, 1933 in Atlanta, Texas to Georgia Mae and Greely H. Headrick. She passed away June 22, 2014 at Burns Flat, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 29 days.

Wanda moved to Elk City, Oklahoma with her parents as a young child. She worked for Little Giant Pump Co. in Oklahoma City and had her own day care in her home for a number of years. She was married to John William Martindale at Vernon, Texas in 1985 and they made their home in Moore,
Oklahoma. After John passed away in 2009 she moved to Burns Flat, Oklahoma.

She attended the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, and 4 brothers.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Glenda Barker and husband, Glen, Blair, OK, Angela Ross, Burns Flat, OK; 1 son, Allen Ross, Oklahoma City, OK; step son, Steve Martindale, Midwest City, OK; 2 sisters, Laverne Harrington, Elk City, OK, Darla Horstkoetter, Elk City, OK; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
