Mildred Estell Maddox

Mildred Estell Maddox was born September 22, 1924 in Russellville, Arkansas. She passed away January 11, 2014 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Mildred grew up in Russelville and was married to Junior A. Maddox at Malden, Missouri on October 17, 1942. After Junior was discharged from the US Army in 1945, they lived in Elk City, Oklahoma until 1947 when they moved to Duncan, Oklahoma. They remained in Duncan until 1974 when they returned to Elk City to make their home. Mildred loved to sew and read western novels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, Alvin H. Maddox and Jerry D. Maddox and 6 brothers.

She is survived by her children, Bill Maddox and wife, Pat, Pampa, Tx; Rosa Mae Pahnlick and husband, Michael, Philadelphia, PA; , 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
