Jimmy Lyons was born November 8, 1995 in Westerville, Ohio. He passed away July 12, 2017 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 21 years, 8 months and 4 days.

Jimmy grew up in Danville, Ohio before moving with his family to Granite, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school in 2014. While in high school he joined the Oklahoma National Guard and was in the process of transitioning to the U.S. Army. He was employed at Wal Mart in Elk City for several years. Jimmy enjoyed hanging out with his friends, being outdoors hunting and fishing and he especially looked forward to spending time with his son, Caden.

He was preceded in death by His paternal grandfather, James Ronald Lyons and maternal grandfather, Richard Eugene Ammon.

He is survived by his son, Caden Omes; his mother and stepfather, Sherry and Johnny Nelson of Weatherford, OK; 3 sisters, Kayla Lyons and companion, Trey Rippetoe of Sayre, OK, Stephanie Wiggins and husband, Brock, of Mt. Vernon, OH, Tori Henshaw of Danville, OH; 4 brothers, Reese Ammon and companion, Crystal Winters, of Granite, OK, Jared Ammon of Weatherford, OK, Caleb Nelson and wife, Destiny, of Elk City, OK and Andrew Lyons of Danville, OH; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Wilhite, of Mt. Vernon, OH; his paternal grandmother, Patricia Rose, Newark, OH; and a host of other relatives and friends.
