Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Libbie" Hunt, 84, were today in the First Baptist Church in Elk City at 3 PM. Doctor John Dugger and the Rev. Bob Denny officiated.

Mrs. Hunt was buried in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Elk City with the Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hunt died Wednesday night in an Elk City hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Lawrence, Kansas, November 18, 1894, and was married to Walter Triplett at Nickerson, Kansas, January 13, 1912. He died in 1935.

She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Hay of Elk City; two step – daughters, Gladys Drechsler of Enid and Grace Dalton of Drummond; a grandson; 10 step – grandchildren; four great – grandchildren; a sister, Mabel Hatfield of Stratton, California; three brothers, Sam and Don Reynolds, North Hollywood, California, and Paul Reynolds, Kansas City, Kansas.

Mrs. Hunt was predeceased by a brother, a sister and a stepson, Lloyd Hunt.
